This was a 5.5 mile walk in the Clyde valley. The ramble started from the Garrion Bridges Garden Centre, then along a farm track to the ruins of Cambusnethan Priory where the group learned a little of the history of the house, which was never actually a Priory, but a private house, hotel and banqueting hall before a fire in the 80s left it derelict. The walk then proceeded past Upper Carbarns farm where produce is distributed to local food banks. The walk finished by walking along the side of the Clyde back to the starting point.
